The Ostrow School of Dentistry Neighborhood Mobile Clinic will provide fun oral health education and free dental screenings during the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books April 21-22 on the USC campus.

The Neighborhood Mobile Clinic will be stationed near the Alumni House on the corner of Childs Way and Pardee Way. Ostrow School of Dentistry faculty, dental students, and dental hygiene students will provide oral hygiene instruction and health screenings from 10 AM – 6 PM on Saturday, April 21 and 9:30 AM – 5 PM on Sunday, April 22.

Each year, the mobile clinics of the Ostrow School of Dentistry care for more than 10,000 children throughout Los Angeles and Southern California, serving as a critical source of dental care for many underprivileged kids. The School’s Community Oral Health Programs annually provide more than $7 million in free care and oral health education to children, homeless individuals, older adults, veterans, and other people in need.
