SPECIAL PATIENTS
The Special Patients Clinic provides services to the developmentally disabled, mentally retarded, elderly and infirmed of Los Angeles County. The clinic's outstanding faculty are trained to understand and address the particular needs of this chronically underserved segment of society.
Care is provided by dental students and residents under the supervision of dental school faculty. A full array of dental services are available.
Appointments can be made by calling (213) 740-5094. The fee for the initial consultation visit is $80 which includes the cost of radiographs. Referrals are welcome, but not required.
Denti-Cal is accepted. Denti-Cal patient must bring their Beneficiary Identification Card (BIC), valid California photo identification and full mouth x-rays.
In compliance with the FTC's Identity Theft Red Flags program, the School of Dentistry is taking steps to help ensure the security of our patient's personal information by verifying the identity of all patients during visits to the School of Dentistry. All patients are required to present a valid photo identification ( California driver's license, California identification card, passport or other government-issued photo identification).
Please note the School of Dentistry will be closed on the following dates:
