PERIODONTICS
The Periodontic Clinic specializes in the study, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and injuries to the gums, connective tissues and bone surrounding the teeth. Resident doctors perform surgical treatments and dental implants under the supervision of faculty experts.
Common procedures include implants, orthodontic implants, temporary implants, sinus augmentation, ridge augmentation, bone grafting, soft tissue grafting, connective tissue grafts, root coverage, root resection, root amputation, crown lengthening, esthetic crown lengthening, limited orthodontic extrusion, limited orthodontic intrusion, osseous surgery and limited tooth extraction.
All patients are seen by referral only. Referrals can be faxed to (213) 740-7064.
