Meet “Quatsch,” one of two therapy dogs that recently visited the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC as part of an exciting new partnership between the dental school and Therapy Dogs International. Once a month, Ostrow will welcome the dogs to its first- and second-floor waiting rooms, where the four-legged volunteers will comfort and distract patients who might otherwise be consumed with dental anxiety. In this photo, Quatsch provides a welcome distraction to Edelmira Cleary, 66, who was at Ostrow for a consultation. (Photo by Christina Gandolfo)
