Ostrow School of Dentistry Mourns Meredythe Mann

Meredythe Mann, Human Resources Director of the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, passed away on Tuesday, March 1. She was 39.

Mann was born in Pasadena, CA on November 27, 1971, the eldest of four siblings. She graduated from California State University Los Angeles in 1994 with a degree in Sociology. She began working for the Walt Disney Company immediately after graduation and spent 10 years with the company.

In 2005, she arrived at USC. As Human Resources Director, she helped hundreds of employees begin successful careers with the Ostrow School of Dentistry and served as a trustworthy friend and mentor to many throughout the School.

Mann is survived by her parents, Gerald and Hattie Mann; her brothers, Christopher and Kynan; her sister, Britney; and her nieces, Makalah and Makenzie.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9 at Mountain View Mortuary, 2400 North Fair Oaks Avenue, Altadena, CA 91001.

Additionally, a viewing will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8 and from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9. There will be a repast following the service.
